Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to some of your deep questions.

1. How do I create an EXFO career profile?

When applying for a particular job, you will be prompted to create an account through a quick and easy-to-fill form. Like a shopping cart, you may add jobs to your account and complete an application process for one, many or all saved jobs in your cart. If you’re interested in getting notifications when job opportunities that match your location(s) and interests open, sign up for job alerts.

We will contact you if we find a position matching your personal interests and abilities. Good luck!

2. I couldn’t find a role I’m interested in, but I would like to send my CV. Can I do this?

Sure, you can! If there are no positions currently listed in your region, send us an open application. You’ll be able to drop your CV and subscribe to job alerts. You can customize your job alerts by location and interests to receive notifications of openings based on your preferences.

3. Do you keep CV on file for future openings?

Yes! We keep your contact information and CV on file according to our user privacy policy. If you have applied for a position in the past, we will invite you to apply to future positions that match your skills.

If you are interested in a new opening, we recommend you also apply directly to the posting—it is okay to apply for more than one position at a time. You can manage, view, and update your profile at any time, as well as track progress on jobs you’ve already applied to.

4. What benefits do you offer?

Founded in 1985, EXFO is an established company with an entrepreneurial DNA. This allows us to offer employees a wide range of programs and benefits, as well as a sense of community. Check out the Our Teams page for an overview of life at EXFO and our benefits.

5. Do you have flexible work schedules?

Employees regularly work with their managers on a case-by-case basis to evaluate flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work and temporary work-from-anywhere measures, based on employee and business needs. If flexible work arrangements are important to you, be sure to mention it to your recruiter so they can find out if it’s possible in the role you are pursuing.
