Job Title: Hyperscale & Datacenter Account Manager – Germany

Location: Remote based in Germany with a strong presence of Hyperscale and Datacenter infrastructure customers


Reports To: Head of Private Business – EMEA


Job Summary:

The Hyperscale & Datacenter Account Manager for Germany will be responsible for developing and managing strategic accounts in the German market, focusing on both Hyperscale and Datacenter segments. This role requires close coordination with the Head of Private Business and the EMEA Hyperscale Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the German technology landscape, including Hyperscale and Datacenter operations, and preferably experience in test and measurement instrumentation environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for Hyperscale and Datacenter clients in Germany.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in both segments, ensuring alignment with their technical and business needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Hyperscale and Datacenter sectors.
  • Collaborate with German sales and distributors to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Provide regular updates on account performance, market trends, and customer feedback to management.
  • Support RFP responses in coordination with Product Line Managers, ensuring technical accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Help in educate internal teams on relevant technologies, applications, and market dynamics specific to Germany.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing large accounts in the Hyperscale and/or Datacenter sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the German cloud and data infrastructure market.
  • Experience in test and measurement instrumentation or as a technical supplier to Hyperscale/Datacenter clients is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and self-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and account management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in account management, sales, or business development in the technology or data center industry.
  • Fluent in English; German mandatory.

  • Anticipate and assess new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Leverage internal resources (sales teams, technical specialists, channel partners) to maximize revenue potential.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions and services.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client-specific developments.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events with a focus on technical product applications.

Travel:

Willing and able to travel within Germany and occasionally across EMEA (approx. 40–50% of the time).
