Are you a motivated Manufacturing Engineer, at the beginning of your career or a seasoned professional, looking for challenges in wireless cyber security here in Oulu, Finland?

EXFO’s Homeland Security Division provides tactical communication intelligence solutions for Governmental Agencies worldwide.

We are looking for a calm, methodical, dynamic, hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and passion for manufacturing, communication, and telecom.

What you’ll do

  • You will manage the customer order and demo request landscape
  • You will be the trusted advisor and owner for the demo preparations within the operations team
  • You will orchestrate the demo activities within the operations team
  • You will perform demo preparations yourself
  • You will make sure that the demo equipment is up to date and operational
  • You will assemble EXFO Homeland Security hardware units in production
  • You will be participating in customer order integrations, testing’s, deliveries and other operations related activities

  • You understand that change is an inevitable part of any business
  • You are a calm and methodical person and able perform under sometimes tight schedules and deadlines
  • You are very good in prioritizing tasks
  • You can communicate with various stake holders with different technical backgrounds
  • You have great documentation and communication skills
  • You are a team player
  • You are a hands-on person who likes to get things done

Must have

Education: 

  • Education: Applicable studies in Technical or Business field (Technical University / University etc.)
  • Language requirements: Good verbal and written Finnish and English. (Additional languages like German and French are seen as an advantage)
  • Location: Northern Finland (office located in Oulu)
  • Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered
