Are you an ambitious SW Designer seeking exciting opportunities in wireless cyber security here in Oulu, Finland? Join EXFO’s Homeland Security Division, where we deliver tactical communication intelligence solutions to Governmental Agencies globally.

 

We’re Looking for Dynamic, hands-on developer with a proactive mindset with strong analytical skills and passion for software and telecom.

 

As a SW Designer, you will be an integral part of our SW Development Scrum Team. Your responsibilities span across all software development phases, from Requirements to Release and Maintenance. Additionally, your willingness to adapt to different Scrum roles, such as Scrum Master or Product Owner, is highly valued.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Actively engage in C/C++ and Java development.
  • Consider knowledge in AI/Machine Learning as a valuable asset.
  • Collaborate within a frequent delivery cycle.
  • We prioritize customer satisfaction, usability, and performance in design. Your role will contribute to our product’s success

 

What we’re looking for

  • Proven professional experience of 3 years or more from Software development (C/C++ or Java)
  • Knowledge of Golang, Python or C# will be considered a plus
  • You will be someone who thrives product and deliverable thinking
  • Customer satisfaction is the key target for you
  • You have an eye for usability and performance in design
  • You have good documentation and communication skills in English
  • Agile software development experience will be considered a plus
  • Expertise in unit and automatic testing design will be considered a plus

 

Must have

Education: Telecommunications or Computer Science Bachelor or Master’s degree. Location: Northern Finland (office located in Oulu). Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered
