Performance Analytics Specialist (BizOps)
Role Mission:
As part of the Organizational Transformation Group, you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and evolution of operational and strategic performance indicators that enable EXFO to measure itself in a context of organizational transformation, sustainable performance, and team alignment around common goals.
You will work closely with the Director of the Value Management Office (VMO), and your main responsibilities will include:
Indicator Governance
- Define and maintain a governance framework for performance indicators.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to implement relevant and useful metrics.
- Ensure consistency, validity, and reliability of measurements.
- Develop dynamic dashboards or other tools leveraging modern methods (e.g., generative AI) to visualize indicator trends and support decision-making.
Automation and Optimization
- Automate data flows between various information systems.
- Develop real-time visualization solutions and proactive alerts.
- Implement methods to make indicators accessible, understandable, and actionable.
Analysis and Continuous Improvement
- Produce predictive analyses on the evolution of key indicators.
- Identify trends in performance data.
- Recommend continuous improvements to measurement systems.
Profile Sought
Education
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Engineering.
Professional Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance management.
- Experience in continuous improvement, organizational transformation, or consulting.
- Experience in system automation and integration.
- Experience in a technology company is an asset.
Technical Skills
- Excellent SQL knowledge and data modeling.
- Experience in developing and automating data pipelines (Airflow, dbt, Talend, Azure Data Factory or equivalents).
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, streaming).
- Programming in Python (ETL, API integration, automation).
- Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Good practices in data governance, quality, and security.
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile, SAFe, and OKR methodologies.
