Offer Control Specialist

A transversal role made to ensure proper offers and contracts management approval for RFTM (Remote Fiber Test Monitoring) solutions, interfacing with various departments and in particular all pre-Sales and Sales stakeholders building the commercial offers and negotiating the contracts.
More specifically, your duties will consist of:
- Apply EXFO’s offer and/or contract approval policy
- Provide relevant approvers with offer and/or contract financial assessment and risk, in full alignment with the offer and/or contract approval policy
- Organize of handover to post-sales organization
- Interact with different departments (i.e. Product Line team, legal, finance etc) to understand and summarize their concerns.
- Perform all other tasks to meet customer’s requirements related to pre-sales
- Maintain and develop departmental and company procedures
- Keeping accurate and up to date records
- Communicate effectively with all internal customers
- Participating in the continuous improvement of our customer service quality
Required skills
- Relevant experience of about 2 years in a similar or same international function
- Excellent communication skills in French & English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of International Trade rules (Incoterms, means of international payments etc)
- Have a good understanding of the financial representation of an offer P&L and its key highlights
- Feel comfortable to present an offer or a contract to directors, VP and/or CEO (as required) with a clearly articulated summary
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and its analytics tools (pivot table, formulas)
- Capable to work with a team and autonomously
- Understanding of the worldwide market (including EC and non-EC countries)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word. Excel and Outlook

- Knowledge on Power BI, Sharepoint and other collaborative tools (asset)

Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
