Job Summary
By joining EXFO as a QA Analyst, you will be part of an experienced team in a multi-project environment. Reporting to the R&D Group Leader, you will actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of EXFO’s new test and measurement product lines by helping define, improve, and execute test strategies and plans aimed at validating product quality.
Your Role
As a QA Analyst, you will establish a quality assurance vision focused on validating the reliability of applications across various EXFO devices. You will work closely with software designers to understand product requirements and verify compliance across multiple scenarios. You will also be responsible for defining and developing automated tests and will handle optical components and various optical measurement instruments.
Responsibilities

Develop and adapt test strategies;

Prepare test setups and optical connections;

Execute tests and implement test automation;

Communicate and ensure a comprehensive and unified automated testing strategy;

Act as a point of contact with development teams to ensure resolution of identified non-conformities.
Profile

Experience in developing automated test strategies;
-
Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language used for automated test implementation;

Knowledge of telecommunications (asset);

Experience working in an Agile development environment (asset).

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a research and development role (or equivalent);

French and English (spoken and written);

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any relevant combination of education and experience.
