SAP Variant Configurator Specialist 

 

Under the responsibility of the Corporate Logistics Manager, The SAP Variant Configuration Analyst is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed, analysis, creation, maintenance and optimization of the SAP Variant Configurators (VCs) SAP R/3 ECC. 

 

Specific tasks include but not limited to, creation of materials, BOMs, classes, characteristics, values and dependencies, select conditions, configuration profiles, user interface design, procedures, constraints, dependency nets, variant tables, material variant, and pricing conditions with pricing procedures. 

He/she also act as a reference for other colleagues who maintain and create VC models.   

 

Requirements 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Variant Configuration SAP R/3  ECC with LO-VC. 

  • A thorough knowledge of all aspects of SAP’s Variant Configurator processes (LO-VC) is required. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment. 

  • Ability to organize activities, set priorities and handle multiple tasks. 

  • Ability to work with the business in defining requirements and resolving gaps/issues by coming up with creative solutions 

  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices. 

  • Ability to work efficiently with team members from different geographical locations and expertise backgrounds. 

  • Ability to communicate in both french and english 

  • Knowledge of SAP CPQ a plus 

  • Experience in high-tech industry (discrete manufacturing) a plus
