Summary

The intern will be part of a multidisciplinary R&D team that develops optical instrumentation for the telecommunications market.

 

The challenges and mandates that await you within the team :

 

  • Perform analysis, simulations and optical montages ;
  • Perform the tests necessary for the validation of hypotheses and the qualifications of EXFO's products ;
  • Write test, experience and qualification reports for new products intended for the telecommunications market, 5G, etc.

 

What we are looking for :

Technical skills

 

 

  • Use of Python, Matlab, C++, C# ; 
  • Knowledge of measuring devices commonly used in optical tests and measurements (asset) ;
  • Basic knowledge of fiber optics
  • Basic signal processing skills

Requirements

 

Education : Two years completed in an Electical Engineering, Engineering Physics 

Language requirment: Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
