Job summary:
The Assembly Technician performs product testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of both semi-finished and finished assemblies. The Assembly Technician assembles both the semi-finished and finished products. This includes electronic, optical, and mechanical assembly.
What you’ll do:
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of semi-finished and finished assemblies
- Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) as per drawings
- Performs product calibration
- Inspect components on the PCBs
- Remove and rework components from PCBs
- Assemble parts as per drawings
- Assemble cables and wires (electrical or optical) as per drawings
- Soldering components or wires onto assemblies
- Using screws drivers or other hand tools to assemble product
- Other duties as related to the production assembly or test process as may be deemed necessary
What we’re looking for:
Technical skills
knowledge of electronic troubleshooting, optical, or mechanical components, has good soldering skills, able to read assembly drawings, understands testing and SMT applications, and to correctly use hand tools and test equipment.
Required aptitudes:
an ability to work with minimal supervision, positive attitude, and be versatile.

Pertinent experience:
Having 1- 3 year experience in an electronic production environment is preferred.
Language requirements:
Able to communicate in English (read, write and speak) is desirable.
Education:
High school graduates or above.
