Job summary:
The Corporate buyer is in charge of developing and maintaining a strong suppliers base in a particular region in Mexico
As a Corporate Buyer, you’ll play a critical role in developing, optimizing and managing supplier partnerships that ensure operational continuity and cost efficiency you responsibilities will include:
- Research, qualify and develop new suppliers
- Optimize actual suppliers business relations;
- Identify new cost savings opportunities
- Negotiate commercial agreements (with or without formal contract);
- Make sure that all documentation related to the suppliers is up-to-date (regulatory affairs and processes)
- Stay aware of market trends
- Support Manufacturing Operations activities on problematic situations
- Track Supplier Performance, address issues, and implement corrective meansures when necessary
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain our corporate buyer
- Strong Negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Knowledge of supplier qualifications, sourcing strategies, and regulatory compliance
- Strong Organizacional and communication skills with attention to detail
- Bilingual (English )strongly Preferred
- Having 3 - 5 year experience in in Purchasing
- Fluent in English (read, write and speak).
- University degree Engineering or Manufacturing management
