Second Shift Position
Job summary
- Be responsible for NPI and prototype of PCBAs, include design review, process design, program and fixture preparation etc.
- Keep a NPI tracker for issues and observation during assembly
- Perform DFM (Design for Manufacture) analysis, provide feedback or suggestion for improvement. Write post assembly DFM report
- Provide feedback for new Land-Pattern design of new parts
- Investigate, research and analyze challenging unique problems and provide solution
- Resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Participate in new technologies and processes implementation, evaluate new SMT equipment and tools for the growth and better quality and efficiency
- Ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output
- Provide training to the SMT System Operators or technicians
- Participate activities for efficiency and quality improvements
- Create or translate work instructions, inspection instructions etc.
- Analysis and provide and follow up actions to solve process quality issues and improve PCBA yield
- Implement ECO changes and monitor effectiveness
- Ensure that the machines are being correctly and safely operated at all times
- Take part in environmental aspects control in the company
- Other duties may be deemed necessary
- Support in the second shitf in smt lines, it is essential
What we’re looking for
Technical skills
- Full technical understanding of SMT process, through concept and construction reviews
- Familiar with automated production equipment - DEK solder paste printer, stencil cleaners, Panasonic pick and place machine, Heller reflow oven, AOI, etc.
Required aptitudes
- Strong interpersonal skills for both external & internal communications
- Ability to provide precise problem observation
- Team work, Good moral and be responsible
Must have
Pertinent experience:
Having 6 years of SMT process experience in EMS plant would be an asset
Language requirements:
Good command of English
Education:
Bachelor degree or above in mechanical, electronic or automation would be preferred
Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered.
