Job summary:

The Production Technician ensures that their team of multi-talented workers is up to date with their work load and that they are trained in the product or process they are working with.  In addition, the Production Technician prioritizes the work for their team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a backup to the position under them where needed
  • Trains assembly technicians in new products, procedures, circuit troubleshooting, or any new test equipment
  • Prioritizes the group workload to meet delivery dates
  • Coordinates the activities within the group
  • Implements ECNs into WIP where needed
  • Maintains equipment and fixtures
  • Other duties as related to the production assembly or test process as may be deemed necessary

 

 

What we’re looking for:

Technical skills

knowledge of electronic component identification, and is familiar with typical production or test equipment.  Has good troubleshooting skills

 

Required aptitudes

Has an ability to work with minimal supervision, direct people to perform specific tasks, positive attitude, and be versatile

 

Must have:

Pertinent experience:

Having 1- 3 years’ experience in an electronic production environment is preferred

 

Language requirements:

Able to communicate in English (read, write and speak), desirable.

 

Education:

High school graduates or above.

 

 

Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered.
