Job summary
As an Equipment Coordinator you will:
- Be required to be onsite in the Houston office full-time Monday to Friday
- Manage the SPUN inventory (spare test equipment reserved for specific customers) to reduce customer downtime while equipment is being repaired.
- Ensure the quality of loaner equipment by arranging regular maintenance within the service center team.
- Manage equipment and accessory inventory levels and make recommendations to reduce costs related to slow moving items.
- Manage communication between our USA sales team and customers to schedule and follow up on loaner equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule the loaning of equipment with the sales team, trade shows, and customers.
- Perform basic tests of the equipment, check software version, and inspection of accessories prior to shipping to ensure that the customer will be able to use the equipment as expected.
- Complete shipping request applications.

What we’re looking for
- Inventory management knowledge (an asset)
- Understanding of telecom test and measurement equipment (an asset)
- Experience with the use of ERP (experience with SAP is an asset)
- Knowledge of EXFO products and operation would be an asset
- Proficiency with computer literacy and understanding of databases, email, and spreadsheets.
- Good verbal and written reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail to produce a high-rate of ‘right-first-time’ results in all work.
- Ability to learn new skills, technologies, and ideas rapidly.
- Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure while always maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements
- Relevant experience: Minimum 2-3 years of electronic test equipment service experience
- Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience.
- Language requirement: English (spoken, reading, writing)
- Education: minimum College in electronics or business program or related field
