Job summary 

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join the Exchange Cloud team as a Product Owner. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the development of our products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, and delivering value to our customers. 

  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and product requirements in the telecom application space. 

  • Define and prioritize product backlog items based on strategic vision and customer feedback. 

  • Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria or scenarios. 

  • Continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring the team is focused on delivering the highest value features. 

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the development, product support, and marketing teams. 

  • Serve as the 'Product Owner' as a member of Agile development teams. 

 

Must Have 

  • University degree, or equivalent job experience 

  • Aiming for 10+ years of work experience as a software developer, tester or business analyst 

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to think strategically and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Experience in the development, evolution, maintenance or operation of web-based or SaaS solutions would be a strong asset 

  • Experience in the telecommunications field is an asset. 

  • Experience with product management tools such as gitlab.com, Jira and Monday.com is a plus. 

  • Certification in Agile or Scrum is desirable but not required. 

  • Bilingual French and English 

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
